I always had a side hustle so that I could justify Starbucks trips and have an excuse to meet new people.
But when I got pregnant with my daughter, I realized that I wanted the time & freedom that people dream about. I wanted to grow my side hustle so that together with my husband’s salary, we’d be just fine.
AND THEN I STARTED TO DREAM ABOUT A DIFFERENT LIFE ENTIRELY.
I started to think about things that felt crazy to me —retiring my husband, being debt-free.
I saw other people doing it, and I knew I was just as hard of a worker as they are. If they can do it, and if my work ethic has shown me anything over the years, then I can do it too.
EXCEPT I MADE A TON OF MISTAKES.
It’s not easy to build a business, and man, I failed forward a lot.
When I started my product-based business (yes, my husband is my business partner and yes, we are still happily together!). I wanted to do it for the mamas on the playground who bullied each other while their kids played.
I wanted to give hope, spread kindness, and help other people find joy who couldn’t do it on their own.
While our business is still running, and we love slapping quippy designs on mugs and tees, I wasn’t fully living to my potential - I knew that my best customers, female entrepreneurs, needed more than just a mug.
They needed to know how to grow their own business.
I LEARNED THAT IT’S ALL ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS
My business, and everything I’ve ever succeeded at in my life, has been because I helped people.
I believe that you can build a business by being in the business of helping people and making an impact on their lives.
You can use the skills and talents you have to create an amazing, heart-centered business and I will no-bullshit you to the $5k months you’re dreaming of.
I use my background as a counselor and educator to strategize the shit out of your business so it can grow by developing organic marketing habits, and keeping it simple and fun.
THERE’S NO ROOM FOR BULLSHIT IN YOUR BUSINESS
And I know that you have goals to achieve. Take action now!
