Step 5 of Group Coaching Mastery: Your Marketing Plan
Welcome back to our Group Coaching Mastery series! Today, we dive into a crucial component: **your marketing plan**. This step is all about ensuring your marketing strategy is both effective and sustainable, bringing in leads consistently without overwhelming you.
Why Marketing Your Group Coaching Program Happens At This Stage
You've done the internal work and set the foundation for your group coaching program. Now, it's time to build a marketing plan that not only attracts clients but also feels manageable. This approach ensures your marketing efforts are consistent and fruitful.
Step 1: Inventory Your Assets
Start by listing the platforms and tools you already use to attract leads. This could include:
- Facebook Groups
- Podcasts
- Email Lists
- Guest Appearances (on podcasts, in Facebook groups, summits, etc.)
Only list assets you enjoy using. If you dislike creating reels on Instagram, don't include Instagram in your marketing plan. Focus on platforms you are comfortable with and can use consistently.
Step 2: Identify Free or Low-Ticket Offers
Next, identify the free or low-cost resources you have that bring people into your world. These might include:
- Workbooks
- Masterclasses
- Live Videos
- Podcasts
- Low-Cost Workshops
Write down everything you offer that helps potential clients get to know you and your expertise.
Step 3: Determine the Pre-Step
Ask yourself: What is the pre-step to being ready for my program?
This is a crucial part of your marketing plan. For instance, if your program helps clients achieve a four-figure monthly income, what do they need to do first? Maybe they need to get comfortable showing up online.
Step 4: Align Your Freebies with the Pre-Step
Ensure your free resources reflect this pre-step. If your program requires clients to be visible online, your freebies should help them with this. For example:
- Visibility Calendars
- Mindset Workshops
- Challenges in Your Facebook Group
If your current freebies don't support this pre-step, create new ones that do.
Step 5: Get Creative
Think creatively about how you can deliver this pre-step through your marketing assets. This might involve creating a new lead magnet or revamping an existing one. The goal is to seamlessly guide potential clients from being interested to being ready for your group program.
By following these steps, you'll have a marketing plan that works for you and consistently brings in leads ready to join your group program.
